During 2005-2011, this informal event drew 30-40 riders each year. It's just a group of riders from the local area and surrounding states getting together to ride the great roads in the area, and all makes and models of Euro-bikes (Triumph, Ducati, BMW, Moto Guzzi, KTM, Ural, etc.) are welcome.  Actually, all riders on all machines who appreciate Eurobikes are welcome!  Each rider is responsible for all their own costs (lodging, food, fuel, etc.). The 2012 (volunteer) Event Team consists of Garry Simmons (Pittsburgh, PA), Mark Hawkins (Hawkster) (Frankfort, KY) and Ron Woodhead (Woody) (State College, PA). 

No registration fees, event sponsors, door prizes, award banquets, paid staff or event gizmos.
This event is truly what you make it.  It's all up to you and therefore "at your own risk." 

This event started at Canaan Valley State Park for 2005-2008, moved to North Bend State Park for 2009-2011 and will be held at BLACKWATER FALLS STATE PARK for 2012 in order to provide some new locations and asphalt to explore and because they offered camping, hotel accommodations and a restaurant in close proximity. And as a bonus, Garry reports that there is a ton of big-bike friendly (with some skills) dirt road riding available too.

IF YOU WISH TO STAY IN THE LODGE....a block of 10 double rooms are held for 3-5 Aug 2012 under the group name "Nittany Road Riders."  Any unreserved rooms will be released on 3 Jul 2012 (30 days prior) by the Lodge office (304) 259-5216. Just identify that you are with "The Nittany Road Riders" and make your reservations. The room rate (for single or double occupancy) for 3 & 4 August 2012 is $94.76 per night. A 2-night minimum stay applies.  Blackwater Lodge is located on the canyon's south rim, providing a sweeping view of the gorge. Each of the 54 air-conditioned guest rooms has a private bath, phone and color TV. The lodge also features a game room and a sitting room w/ fireplace. CABINS: Situated in a wooded area about one mile from the lodge are 26 deluxe year-round vacation cabins. They are all made with wood-paneled walls, stone fireplaces and forced air furnaces for year-round comfort. IF YOU WISH TO CAMP... The 65-unit tent and trailer campground has individual sites with centrally-located hot showers, laundromat and dump station. 30 sites have electric hookups. The campground is open from late-April through October annually with a maximum camping period of two weeks. Starting on 15 Mar 2012, reservations are accepted for 20 of Blackwater Falls' campsites from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
