Eat at the Lawn Fire Company Ride-In Breakfast!EVENT: The NRR DAY TOUR FOR JULY on Sunday, 19 Jul 09

Overview:
This will be an early departure and a full day of riding, eating, riding, gawking and more riding. Departure will be 6:30 AM sharp from Kissell Motorsports returning approximately 3:45 PM. The total distance will be about 225 miles. The destinations will be the soon-to-be-if-not-already famous Lawn Fire Company Motorcycle Ride-In Breakfast and the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum in Hershey. Given the destinations and the time constraints, we will be forced to slab most of the ride. The breakfasts last year were a great success and with the addition of the Antique Auto Museum (including the current "Fast from the Past: The Competition Motorcycles of Yesteryear" exhibit), I'm sure it will be a good time.

Photos of the August 2008 NRR ride to Lawn Fire Co. breakfast are available HERE.

What a great Ride-In Breakfast!(1) The Lawn Fire Co. Ride-In Breakfast fee is $10/person, payable to them.

RIDE REPORT from Jay Bartlett:
The bad news is, Dan Lehman and I were the only riders. Which was fine for us, since could keep up a brisk pace without trying to keep a large group together, but too bad for the folks who missed out on 250 miles of good riding in great weather, about 2,500 delicious but artery-clogging calories and the company of a thousand other riders at Lawn Fire Co., and an interesting stop at the antique vehicle museum (n.b.: worth visiting but not so fabulous as to justify the trip by itself). I'm sure the early start deterred a lot of people, but if you're a real biker and not a hopeless weenie, y'all owe it to yourselves to make this trek sometime in the future.
