Join us for the 2007
Wooden Nickel / Millersburg Ferry Ride with a popular route! All bikes are welcome;
two groups will ride - Sportbike Group and Cruiser Group (if numbers
permit). Route map available
HERE, and
all riders will be asked to sign the Waiver Form at KMS prior to
departure.
Fuel, food, & ferry costs c/o each rider. Bring your cameras, too.
- Depart 11AM from Kissell Motorsports
Inc.
- Rt. 322 to Lewistown
- Rt. 522 north to Rt. 235 south.
- Stretch break beyond summit along PA Rt. 235.
- Continue on PA Rt. 235 south to PA Rt. 35 then turn left.
- PA Rt. 35 to Rt. 104 South at stop sign.
- Right onto Rt. 104 South to Rt. 11-15
and south to ferry.
- Board ferry eastbound to Millersburg (Toll = $5 per bike, I think).
- Lunch at The Wooden Nickel, 210 Market Street, in (downtown)
Millersburg
- Rt. 147 north. Break & fuel at intersection with PA Rt. 225.
- Continue on PA Rt. 147 north to Sunbury & through Northumberland, then take
left onto Rt. 405.
- Snack break at "The Fence" drive-in along the river, opposite from
Lewisburg on Rt. 405.
- Then continue on Rt. 405 to traffic signal at PA Rt. 45 west, then
left to Lewisburg at light.
- Turn right at US Rt. 11-15 north, then left onto PA Rt. 192 west to a
stretch break at R.B. Winter State Park, then on to Centre
Hall (and home at 5 PM 7 PM).
